Teh Tricky Techno [8 or 9]

This song, while featuring a few tricky patterns, is quite short and far too easy to be a 9. The jumps are all 12, and the BPM isn't really fast enough to make the 24th/odd patterns too tricky.

Compared to Eclipse, this could pass as a mid-high 8.

Keep this a 9, agreed. The first half has MUCH easier patterns than the go-screw-yourself combo of broken jumpjacks and trills, which I mind a LOT more than the 24ths. As for the 16ths, their speed compares favorably to other 9s such as Delirium or CIA Rave. While no one pattern dominates for any length of time, there are a fair number of trills in both 1h and 2h varieties to give the up-and-coming spread player quite a test.

As rage-inducing as the ending is for me (because I struggle with the anchors--my best is 2 clean), it's perfectly fine as the low 9 it is.

I have to agree with Middie. The song is at a considerable bpm to be considered a 9 and also some of the awkward patterns make this file very difficult. If anything, I'd make this a low-10 imho, but I'd be willing to settle for 9. 8 on the other hand...no.

This is a pretty strong low 9, def tougher than the rest of the other short low 9s (emiaj, parade, famouz, yoshi etc.) No reason to be 8, it'd be extremely out of place there esp with that 2nd half.

One of my worst, and the hardest 9's I've played. Patterns and rhythms are stupid and feel awkward as crap at a relatively moderate BPM with 24th bursts and runningmen type things. It's a mid-high 9

Not even a low 9. I had huge trouble even clean FCing this file, honestly.
(34)3(34)3 and (12)2(12)2, affectionately known as 1-handed anchors, are basically the hardest pattern possible for spread players.

I agree with it staying a 9 for this reason. Those anchors are rather hard to hit cleanly. It's easy to just hit the entire anchor section as (34) and get an FC, but try doing the pattern cleanly. The anchors are a bitch.

Keep this a 9. the one-handed thrills in the streams, plus the 1-handed anchors. hard to FC much less PA
