Hardcore of the North [40 or 45]

I think Hardcore of the North should be at least a difficulty of 45. For instance, the song esc (super version), with a difficulty of 46, is approximately 20 BPM less than than Hardcore of the North's fastest BPM change throughout the whole song. In addition, esc (super version) has fairly easy patterns because of the lack of staircases, consequtive jumps, or streams longer than five seconds. In contrast, Hardcore of the North has staircases, many instances of four jumps in a row, and some streams that last over eight seconds long.

Furthermore, The Games We Played Part 2 also has slower BPM and consists of mostly quarter notes and eighth notes with a few short bursts, while Hardcore of the North has more condensed notes overall.

It gets faster and faster and towards the end it's like 50 something because it's so fast! x.x It's difficult to AAA because of the speed-up's.

Bumping this cause I was MPing with drizzle and she mentioned this thread.

The song is definitely not a 40, even with the simple roll patterns, it gets much faster than any other song at the difficulty range.

I think bumping this to around a 45 is fair, since the patterns are still rather simplistic to hit.

I used to play ESC and HoTN(years ago) back to back and I always thought esc was miles easier.

Hardcore of the north is easily a 45, but i'd put it on 46.

This was one of the hardest VDs imo. VD peaks at 45. This should've been there to begin with. 46 enters C range and I'd feel slightly uncomfortable putting an old VD there. 45 is totally fine with me.

you're right,
I can't really see this being a C.
Also, there are no variations of patterns in Hardporn of the North; so it doesn't challenge anything except intense repetition(Lolf Victorymanias) and some speed.
