try updating your uncompression app. windows zip handling is poor as hell. it could also be the file was corrupt to begin with.

no, it's a known bug that you have to use IE to download the simfiles, they're corrupted otherwise. although, Mozilla Firefox IS the best browser. (stupid IE)

Yes, I use Mozilla (not Firefox) as my primary browser, and when I try to download a simfile, it just downloads some 1 kb zip file instead.

I noticed this too and I was just about to report it but decided to look around first, yeah.

How difficult would it be to allow other browsers to download? I mean really... it's a bug in the first place, and not a very common one, because I've never had this problem before. I play in Mozilla, so it's really freaking annoying that whenever I want to download simfiles, I have to open up IE (which I never use otherwise) and log in and go to all the trouble. I usually end up just NOT downloading... it's annoying as hell. Except for if I'm in Linux, then it's nearly impossible. Who wants to go to the trouble of setting up IE in Linux.. there's no point.

I don't understand what's the specialness that needs a special broken code to download the simfiles. Nothing else does that. (convoluted sentence © me)

I got an extension, so I just right click and hit "view this page in IE", whenever a page gets glitched because of bad programming.
