    Cannot hit arrows after offset

    I typed "1" into my offset setting and hit the enter button to try to fix the syncing on "Rocking Ass," but when I played the song, I could no longer hit notes. I was like "Okay, maybe I should go the other way," so I typed "-1" in and hit enter. I still couldn't hit any notes. Ever. I was like "Well this isn't working. I'll just put it back to 0," so I did.

    I still can't hit notes.

    I'm currently using Firefox 3.6. I tried playing FFR on Internet Explorer 8 (64-bit) but the script won't even load. I tried refreshing the page, clearing my cache and even tried the low res version. No dice. I can play on the Velocity engine but I like the look and feel of the other version better. I really like playing FFR so I would really appreciate if this glitch was fixed.

    Edit: Oh god, for some reason, I got the stupid idea to try the same thing on the Velocity engine and now I can't hit notes there either.

      Click set speed to save each time you change your offset.
      Your problem must be hitting the enter key when you change it.
      You shouldn't because I don't lol.

          If there's any other characters besides a - or a number (in that order), you should see no steps, but steps shouldn't be impossible to hit.

          Have you properly set your speed mod? What are you using?

              Also, you can't use decimals. All offsets must be whole numbers, otherwise notes don't even show up in the song.

                  Oh my snap, I figured out what it was!

                  I was using 1.31 as my speed mod. Apparently, you can only use one digit after the decimal point otherwise you will see notes but not be able to hit any of them. I think I tried to change my offset at the same time as adjusting my cmod so that's where the confusion came up. Thanks so much for your help, guys!

                      Well actually it has to end in 0 or 5
                      like I use 1.815

                      some xmods don't work when it ends in a 0 or a 5 but this is the general rule
