i agree that it would be nice to have the ability to turn off the ugly bars at the top and bottom of the screen as well as the score that nobody ever pays attention to while playing

BUTTTTTTTT i have the progress bar turned off :P

you should be able to just press whatever your "quit" button is to jump to the results screen where you can open options and change whatever you want

I really think there should be more than just searching for a song TITLE or songs that have a certain combination of letters in them. I think that we should be able to search by ARTIST, and then everyone could find a large selection of songs from an artist they really like! :3

I definitely feel like this is something that should happen in the future for the R^3 engine. The code exists in the older Velocity engine.

This exists in R^3. Go into Other Options in the engine, and under Isolation Start, put the approximate combo of where you'd like to begin. You also can specify how many notes of isolation you'd like to have.

Have the engine not only remember the best raw score, but also the best combo achieved on a song.

Mostly because I've seen my FC count go down after getting better accuracy with a miss on a couple tough (for me) songs, and yesterday I got 2 FCs with worse accuracy that weren't remembered (Crow's Newspaper and Black Key Etude- and I was grinding for the latter of those for a while :/)

I'm not a fan of combo scoring at all, to be honest. Honestly, I'd like to see a new rank, "AA", for a full combo with no boos.

This is incorrect. If your FC gets beaten by a non-FC, you will lose the FC on your profile (this happened to me on Death Piano).

That's straight shenanigans.. No wonder my advanced stats says I have 300 fcs but my profile only has like 280 >:/

My suggestion:

Can there be a bar on your profile to show SDGs (with Aaas and fcs)?

Another thing I just thought of.. Could the SDG letters next to a song on the in-game change colors based on how good of a score it is? For example, a 9 good 4 boo SDG would be dark orange, whereas a 1 good 1 boo SDG would be orange but closer to AAA color.

In that same vein, what about the display for FC being silver if it's an FC with boos, and gold for an FC with no boos?

This wouldn't change the scores or anything or how they are worth to your stats, just simply how they appear in the songlist.

The option to turn off in-game notifications during Multiplayer would be an excellent addition to R^3.

Might write up an easy implementation for this if I'm not lazy, in class now

Edit: irc yo, I'm gonna try to do this in the FFR engine later perhaps, my idea is to basically connect to an irc channel, then pming and such would all be done through there, would just have a listener for message received etc. The other way would be to do it through vbulletin pms or something, could just post login to FFR, save the cookie and use vbulletin api or w/e for pms, I think irc would be easier though

This may have been brought before but SERIOUSLY. I'm really salty about this. The upload to Imgur function seriously needs to be put back in R^3. I don't know what the staff were on when they took it out of R^3.

Doesn't it require a higher flash player? Have you tried it with that, cause I know personally it doesn't work for me on flash 9 (along with rates, full screen etc - it has to do with how they are implemented, I think they use as3 functions)

I was also considering the fact that perhaps the api key for imgur expired - then I found https://market.mashape.com/imgur/imgur-9/pricing where it's free if you are a non profit organization I believe, it only costs money if you are a commercial business. If it doesn't work, I dunno, someone might just need to re register for the api and update it in the engine.

EDIT: it's also 1250 uploads per day, that isn't too many, but maybe it's enough? Perhaps it went over the daily limit and that's why you can't upload lol

The method now is saving it to your computer and you can upload onto imgur, with you being the middleman to the old process. It was taken out because of the API.

Alternatively get something like puush.
