Re: FFR Suggestions
Is there any plan for new noteskins? I remember it being mentioned awhile back when metal was added that there were going to be more, didnt know if that was still happening. Would be neat to see some new ones like a transparent skin(like FFR skin with the middle taken out so its just the outsides), something like delta from SM, etc.Comment

it'd be interesting if you could create your own noteskins and import them into the engine for your own use.Is there any plan for new noteskins? Re: FFR Suggestions
I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now and I guess it’s about time I brought it up. I’ve noticed recently that a lot of out-of-game simfile packs are being created. So dear I say it, bring back the Simfile Database. Now the database would have to get a complete overhaul from its predecessor do to how many legal problems it had, but I have a few ideas (if not big) that may help for this case.
• Bring in a new set of moderators; A Simfile Moderator to be exact. Instead of giving members the freedom to upload whatever the heck they wanted, they would have to go through the process of approval with the moderators. It’s kind of the same process that’s in the queue/Batch thread. They would send them proof of approval by the music artist for the song that was stepped and then it can be uploaded by the MODERATOR only. The same process goes for song packs, except they can be uploaded into a group.
• The Simfile Database would also give new simfile artist as well as music producers/bands a chance to shine.
• This new simfile database may also have some benefit for FFR the game as well. Since the database would be open to anyone, any particular song that a majority of the community really enjoys could be put into FFR itself.
• Course this may also run into problems… If more and more people were making their own simfiles rather than what was in the queue/batch thread, less and less files from the queue/batch thread would be made. The song artist also may have never specified as to what his/her permissions grant, so we may never be able to put some of the songs in-game in the first place.
This new simfile database is simply an idea that’s been lurking in my head for some time, but if it somehow goes into effect (which I’d be very surprised if it did) I’d like to help work it out.Comment

Re: FFR Suggestions
If you're gonna do the song list like that (and it does look good), I suggest:
- include an "all songs" 'genre', and make it the one that's opened when the game loads
- show the difficulty (and possibly FC/AAA) at the right side of each song title bar
- add in some options like on the current song list (song length, song difficulty, AAA, various types of sorting) - they could be on the top side of that empty space at the right
- put in the user info (name, credits, rank, etc) either on the left bar under the game/news/etc options, or on a separate bottom barBest AAA: Policy In The Sky [Oni] (81)
Best SDG: PANTS (86)
Best FC: Future Invasion (93)Comment

That's some obvious stuff. There's no reason not to bring this over from the current engines. They have to do things one step at a time.If you're gonna do the song list like that (and it does look good), I suggest:

Re: FFR Suggestions
I have a suggestion.
Sometimes I want to play numerous files from one certain simfile artist. How about implementing something that can show only that person's simfiles in the search menu. Possibly simply typing in a simfile artist's name in the search box and showing all of their simsComment
