Forum server time?

Not a real major thing, was just wondering if it was possible to create a time-stamp script below the currently online users and total member count.



I figure a script like this shouldn't be too hard to add. It adds convenience for hosts/players in tournaments because they don't have to try and calculate the difference, they could just have a unified server time to look at.

The only thing I wonder, is if it's even possible to make the script without affecting vBulletin forum settings. But hey, it was worth a shot.

Dumb thing I did in the picture - you should probably have the date display the full month rather than the number itself (i.e. November rather than "11" - a little more friendly to foreign users this way).

This is a very good idea. I like it.
Why not take advantage of the new abilities of the internet and make it a real time status. (Updates every second without refreshing, and do this for the online and total as well)

Yep had to adjust for GMT to CST, should be working now. Doesn't load on forums but forums don't need the time. I'll add it to the forums too if people want it.

That was damn fast, haha.

EDIT: Forum addition would be nice too considering most people will use a screenshot on the main page of a tournament they are signed up in.

Also, random question - is it possible to go down to the second on these times and make it live?

wow changes between home page or profiles what the F*ck that is dumb this code........................

w/e gonna smoke and then fix it. I'll make it give seconds but I give no guarantees on real time update.

Yea it was showing up wrong for me at first but then when I went to my profile and back to the main page it was correct.

Workin on setting it up w/ the next engine release. The purchase bug is a little bit more than just a surface fix.


Date stamp is working properly now. GG WordPress for hardcoding a timezone setting in its settings that isn't even editable from the admin dashboard.
