Keys don't work

I noticed that new users that make a account and start playing has to go to the setting and click on set speed for the notes to register. I think that it will drive some of are new users away and should be fixed as soon as possible.

Notice that the new members also have troubles with prochat and mp.
I wish i still had my account from my freshman year. |:
