Despite having fixing my prior lag, and despite AAAing many hard songs on SM fine, I'm finding myself getting random goods everywhere, even on the easiest song...I can't even AAA Big Blue v2. I figured that the main difference between my old desktop computer and this laptop was that somehow my old computer had FFR sync much better, to just about every song. Is there some sort of internal syncing differences within an individual computer or something?? Also, my old keyboard had fatter keys, but the fact that I could do well on SM with my laptop keyboard should mean that I've overcome the differences in key size. Those are the only differences I've noticed, so striking out lag and general playing experience, I'm currently putting the culprit to the mild but disastrous offsync that's affecting my scoring abilities.
There's another similar thread in this forum which describes the general offsync of many songs on FFR, but even "properly synced" songs don't fare well on my laptop. It might be "properly synced" to some sort of standard, but my computer seems to have some universal offset to upset the syncing on all files, or at least that's what it seems like to me. So I hope that an option to clearly expand the flexibility in syncing freedom is possible, whatever the case is from person to person. (And at the same time, exclude this option to songs that derive their difficulties from being offsync in the first place. These songs might need to be recategorized afterwards.)
Any ideas?
