yeah, i am not sure if this has been mentioned before. i thoughly doubt that this is an origional thought but a pause feature would be very very helpfull in the game.

yea but this site has pop ups which when they come up it makes u lose ur place. or a friend ims u then u go to that screen and u lose ur place. SO EXPLAIN THAT i love ur idea by the way as u can see

Do it like Tetris or Dr. Mario; when it pauses make it be a plain black screen, or even just the song's BG, that says pause in the center. That way it really wouldn't help anyone cheat at all because you wouldn't be able to see the arrows anyway.

no.. because then all those songs with the long runs in them wont mean shit anymore.. because will just play untill they are tired.. then pause.. get energy back.. then play again.. its not hard to remember whats on the screen.. and which button to push next.. the pause button is a bad idea.. for many reasons.. cheating/giving the person a handicap being one of them...
now if it could get setup where when you pushed the pasue button your score doesn't get counted and you receive no credits for passing the song then.. whatever.. but until then.. then idea is a no go..

Then you could pause the game to get in prime positions for what you have to hit next. If you have jackhammers, you could pause it RIGHT before the jackhammers, get double setup ready, hit them all, then switch back to comfortable position. It's not the way the game was meant to be played.

its purpose would be to help beginers get through those levels that they are having difficulties with.. it would be like playing a practice round of ffr for that song.. just a little extra something that would take FOREVER to program, and wouldn't be worth the effort..Then it loses its purpose. You would want the pause button so that you wouldn't get your score screwed up. If you aren't going for a high score, who would care if you get interrupted?

No it wouldn't... who has "energy" problems in hard songs, UR USING UR FRIGGIN FINGERS FIIR CRAPS SAKE!!!
and a pause wouldn't be too hard to program, I don't know too much about flash Action SCripting but I know there is a "STOP" command.
