I really wish there were a feature to un-load a song that you have selected on Multi-Player. It would help a lot, especially when someone loads the wrong song, or leaves after the other player has loaded a song.

This is a very sought-for feature of FFR's live multiplayer, suggested on numerous occasions. FFR Multiplayer is still in development, and may continue to lag and contain minor bugs which may be problematic for its users. These are a higher prioritised list of components which need greater attention.
Unloading a song, both in solo and multiplayer is impossible at this current time. The best option you can take is a quick 'back to lobby' and 'join/create game'. For future reference, talk with your opponent and decide on a song carefully, or click the song you wish to play once and receive confirmation from your opponent.
