    Advertisements.

I already know what everyone's going to say. "Pay money if you want them to stop". But that's not really the root of the issue. I don't mind adverts - if they don't hinder the playing of the actual game to the point of unplayability.

It's impossible to play the game anymore without stuttering from the moving advertisements - and it is NOT my system - I have 4GB of RAM and a 2.5 GhZ Intel Core Duo T9300 processor. It's aggravating when every 5 notes it jumps a little. So much for a AAA, eh? Or even a FC, for that matter.

You may as well change that "1,644,469 members and growing" to the number of subscribed, paying members - because there's no way that the rest can enjoy themselves playing this game anymore. The advertisements are too intrusive and they lag the game. I don't mind adverts - but please, PLEASE, change it so that there are more static advertisements. I don't even care if you have 8 of them on the page - just remove the moving ads that butcher this fun game.

Just took a quick look through the rules again, don't see why I can't speak about this, but if it's against forum rules, let me know and I'll take this thread down.

    Re: Advertisements.

I have the same problem occasionally. if the advertisements refresh or are still loading when i am playing a game, it will start lagging. i dont mind the advertisements except when they cause this problem. the problem could be due to my craptastic internet service that is down or running slow half the time, though. i'm planning on getting a sub as soon as i get out of college and land a steady job (it would be wasted right now since i'm on here sporadically due to lack of time because of a job and school).

      Re: Advertisements.

lol, idk if this relates to the advertisements, but I had my alt up in a IE window, and that file is not a subbie, just went to go click off of it, it was named virus doctor, opened it, it was a little window with nothing but the google toolbar on it, i clicked "X" and it came up like "would you like to close this window?" "click cancel to prevent your com from crashing"

If this is from the advertisements, then im not touching my alt till that is fixed cuz it will F up my com.
