    lagging problem

ffr seems to be reading my keyboard weirdly. it lags when I press any key on my keyboard which is somehow related to my computers rate at which it autoclicks the keys while they're held down. I know because I've turned it up and down and it affects the lagging alot but even if I turn the autopress thing down all the way (still not off though, I dont know if it can be turned off compleatly or not) it still lags enough to throw me off and its completly annoying. it only lags like this on my computer. I run windows XP service pack 3 (if that info helps) please help my problem as I'd like to keep practicing FFR

Make sure you've closed all unnecessary tabs and programs while playing ffr.

Try different browsers, see if one of them lags less.

Also, try playing ffr on this page.

      Also, wireless keyboards suck.

Kill the explorer process tree by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, clicking on the 'Processes' tab, right clicking explorer.exe, and then left clicking 'End Process Tree'.

Then, open Mozilla by using Ctrl+Alt+Delete, going to 'File', 'Run', and then opening Mozilla.

This makes Explorer and all of its processes tied to it stop running, and Mozilla should run a bit more smoothly.

This. I get random right clicks that shift the focus from the game and onto somewhere else, making me miss a bunch of times.

                /offtopic

I was going to suggest ending the process tree thing, but someone already beat me to that.

                  Re: lagging problem

It could be the keyboard. What keyboard is it? Were the keyboards you tried out all under the same brand?
Also, virus protectors can slow down gameplay as well. If you do have one, make sure you only have one.
