But I lost a full combo?
It said I had 460, now it says I have 459.

People have been reportedly losing good scores and having them replaced with bad ones. If you recently played something you'd already FCed and perhaps quit out of it, this may have happened to you.

it's like missing the last note on hardkore atomic when you FC'd it before, but with much better PA

Either you lost the FC by getting a higher non-FC score on a song you already FC'd or you lost it by the glitch Zybanthia described. If you lost it by getting a higher score, the only way to get it back is to beat that score.

I just replayed the song and AAAed it, and I guess the FC came back.
I think?
Hopefully it wasn't a different song then the one I just AAAed.
But I have no idea which FC I lost.

Had no idea this could happen. Interesting. Similarly, I believe you can lose a AAA in Stepmania to a AA with much higher MA.

there are two ways an AA can be better than an AAA in stepmania; higher machine score or higher dance points. the default theme goes by machine score (which is a version of dp that weighs notes later on in the song much higher so in fact an A can replace an AA and etc)
