FFR Post Timings

minor complaint:

vB is 1 hour ahead for me when it shouldn't be (I have Pacific Time selected with auto DST corrections) and profile posts/front page comments are 3 hours ahead (i.e. they are using correct DST but they are also using EST universally, I guess).

Same. The EST part is what I am, but everything's an hour ahead.

Just a guess, but I think it may have to do with the daylight savings. I had a similar problem, but after fiddling around with User CP, I got it to work.

vB should automatically recognize my settings and change things accordingly. As a temporary solution, I can of course change my time zone, but I want to stay PST, dammit.

As to the thoughts/comments, I think that it's probably not connected to time zone information (hopefully that can be done at some point).

Everything non VB is CST. Live with it.

Ah well, then. I suppose it's a really minor thing, anyways.

As for vB, I guess I will temporarily switch time zones and hope for an actual fix later on.

this. i was off by an hour as well... went into my CP... and it fixed itself.

Alright, let me see what can be done.

Edit: wtf the post timings are correct! Messing around in CP earlier didn't do anything, but now with no action on my part, everything has been fixed. Maybe it adjusted my settings overnight or something.

Anyways, since it's clear that non VB portions of the site will remain in only one time zone, this can probably be locked.

I had to fix it myself just now. Turned off Detect DST. Nothing happened on its own.
