Alright, I know there have been threads asking about skill-based unlocks/etc for vROFL and I also know you are probably sick of them as well.
I know one reason the gambling thing was opened up was to remove credits from the overall virtual economy.
What I propose is a method that will quickly remove large amounts of credits and is a huge gamble.
vROFL is highly sought after so it cannot be given away easily. What I propose would not be easy for someone to gain either and they would likely lose a lot.
The proposal?
You can gamble 500,000 credits for a shot at winning vROFL. You have a 1 in 10 chance of winning. These numbers could be messed around with to make it harder/etc.
For example, maybe you have a 1 in 100 chance of winning, and to gamble costs you 500,000 credits. Or perhaps gambling costs 1 million credits with a 1 in 500 chance of winning/etc...
The point is, it would actually be easier to win via an official contest method. But people would have this to tempt them to gambling all their credits.
So if this is added, it could be another option within the gambling page, only open to those who have the minimum credits required for it, along with the displayed odds of winning, which I wouldn't recommend setting any lower than 500,000 which is already a lot more than most people will ever have.
All lost credits go to "house". Also if vROFL is won the credits go to "house" as well for payment.
