    Levelrank bug

    I was playing a few songs to improve my ranking, and one of them was Ruins. Anyway, when I went to check my level rank a bit later, I noticed that it had jumped up about 15, and the reason was that my rank on Ruins was now something like 9300 instead of the 400 or so it was before. The score was 42-1-0-21-2 (the 21 misses means I accidentally missed a note and then gave up), whereas before I had a FC. So I guess the bad score somehow overwrote the previous score. (I did go and re-FC the song right after, so this isn't still in my levelranks.)

    I don't have any idea how to duplicate or explain this glitch. Has anyone seen or heard of it before?

      This happened to my Death Piano score too but I PM'd the problem. Apparently 1070 combo beats 1252 combo :s

      Bluearrowll = The Canadian player who can not detect awkward patterns. If it's awkward for most people, it's normal for Terry. If the file is difficult but super straight forward, he has issues. If he's AAAing a FGO but then heard that his favorite Hockey team was losing by a point, Hockey > FFR

          it records highest score...this has been discussed. song fc'ed, next time way higher PA but missed near beginning/end=higher score. the higher score overwrites the lower score and rank but you dont get the fc for higher score, so the fc is taken away.

              No, actually, this just happened to me on rose. I booflagged it, which then became my better rank. I AAA'd again, though, to fix it. Weird glitch.

                      LD is looking into this... but won't be easy to fix (I imagine) unless we can somehow figure out WHY it is happening... something where we can duplicate the bug. without that, it's rough to try and fix.

                              Same thing just happend to me on Blue Rose, i pllayed it and booed out then it said I didn't FC it... So I had to do and do a crap job of the file...
                              It was like rank 110.
                              Then got pushed back to rank 250
                              THe only way I noticed it was because it was the highest rank song on my levelrank out of the random.
                              No idea whats going on but... don't play any songs you have AAA'ed then or have a good score you know you can't raise.
