    AAA feedback

As of right now (as I am typing this) there is a discrepancy in the number of listed AAAs in my profile/levelrank vs. what is listed in the tier points page.

Profile/levelrank both say I have 44 AAAs. Tier points page says I have 59 AAAs.

I manually counted which songs each was counting and they both added up to their respective numbers.

I then noticed something after a few tries of searching. The levelrank page does not include any songs there that are from Token or Skill genres at all, so the tier points page is also counting my token or skill AAAs whereas profile/levelrank is not. Confusing? I think so.

I was under the impression the levelrank lists all (and only) songs you have access to, as well as your scores on those, and I was using that assumption to base song playing on either songs I had a very bad levelrank on or those where I had a really good levelrank, but less than AAA, in the hopes of getting another AAA.

So now that I know it doesn't list the token or skill songs, I am a bit confused. On the other hand, it does list all Secret genre songs, even ones I don't have access to.

Is this by bug or by design? Will someone please explain it to me?

(Skill) Tokens do not show on display but on tier points.
It's supposed to be like that.

      Re: AAA feedback

      it's all by design.

levelrank / profile displays are only "public" songs... songs that anyone can get either from the start or from getting credits (secret/purchased). there is a 2nd levelrank list, the "special" levelrank, which includes songs that are in their subscriber-only state plus skill/token songs. that levelrank is only viewable by subscribers.

TPs take into account AAAs from your "special" levelrank in addition to your "public" levelrank, the same way that TPs use songs that are skill/token songs. The thought is that TPs are to measure the elite skill in the game... and the elite user will have all the token/skill songs and high ranks on them, so they should be counted in TPs. Whereas profiles and levelrank are more for everyone and the casual user, who may or may not go for skill/token songs.
