I'm pretty sure this is a bug though I'm not entirely sure.
I played Setsoujou! Hyakka Ryouruon! (or whatever it is...) but I realized for some reason I sucked at the intro. I can't do the beginning of Rottel-da-Station either, so its normal. I played the song so many times, and eventually got fed up and mashed the hell out of the beginning, still missing all but 8 of the first 30 notes in the first ten triples. I have really fast fingers. If I didn't i wouldn't have any good FC's. So, its a safe assumption that if I mash the hell out of something, i should be able to get it, right? WRONG.

The triple jacks in Blue Rose are easy. I can nail the ones in Bloodrunk. Is there anyone else with the same problem?

I also get issues with boos. When I decide I don't ant to continue the song, whatever arrow keys my fingers are on all get pressed. In the case of Setsoujou! Hyakka Ryouruon! I usually give up on triples, and press them. If I fail on purpose at the beginning before notes start coming, and press three arrows at once, 10 or 11 boos should make me fail. Yet my boo count is just shy of 100. It only happens on Setsoujou! Hyakka Ryouruon!

Please tell me this is a bug and if so that it can be fixed.I love the stepfile, and the song is really easy/fun, but I can't get the FC because this always happens.

*EDIT-
The part about the being able to nail triples in Bloodrunk is wrong. I played it and failed miserably. Though to prove my point that this has to be a bug, I have a video of the replay. It said I has 135 misses. Yet, My best rank on the song in levelstats.php is 195. Isn't it unlikely that I'd be able to mash it and not get butt-loads of boos?

Tass or whichever Admin. feels it necessary, please look into this. I can't get real combos anymore in anything with triples, and its not because I suck.

Just as I suspected. You can only hit certain triples and no quads.


It's your keyboard. It can't take input with 4 arrow at once and some combination of 3 at once; it has to do with conflicting signals. Now if you play spread, I can't see why this is the case. If you play with one hand (I doubt it), get a new keyboard.

If you play spread and the keys you press are close together, you can also get this problem.

Use ASKL as input keys. and as for the replay, i think it still has the av-miss problem.

This seems like a "I fail at hitting arrows, it must be the games fault."

, but really, when you see a quad, just hit left+down then release, then hit up+right. Do this really fast. If you do not like that then try remapping your keys like the person before me said.

If a s k l is uncomfortable, go see test input in stepmania options and experiment with various key combinations that register simulatneously.

Heck, at least you can even hit triples. My keyboard is so screwed up it can hardly handle jumps anymore.

Experiment with different button combos to see which ones easily allow quads. The replays still have avmisses and don't prove anything.

Ah, something was bugging me here.

Triples = a trio of 16th notes (blue yellow red space blue yellow red etc.)
Hand = 3 simultaneous arrows, counts towards air.
