I was just wondering why non-subscribers don't have the report profile button, you know the "!." It's not like its a special feature that gives you an edge on anything, its just a way to report something without a PM.

I thought we had originally implemented it as just another perk, under the assumption that the subscribers were more familiar with site rules and more likely to uphold them.
But I don't get profile reports and I like when Tass suffers so I'm all for giving the power to eeeeveryone! 8)Comment

Yeah i think it should be for everyone. But atleast make it go to some other page where it says "do not abuse this report option" and leave a list of broken rules that you can choose that the person is violating. Atleast it would make it more organized and people wouldn't abuse the report.

Well i do think your avatar is a bit mean. dont get me wrong though, its ****ing hilarious! but still a bit mean.
Also, i think it should be available for everyone, but make sure there are certain rules everyone has to read first. like no porno, no racism, stuff as bad as that.
and ban people who abuse the button so they would learn.
Im only saying this because its not really fair that only subscribers get a report option. it should be available for everyone. lets say a public user walks into a profile filled with porn bgs and avies. They would have to go call for a subbyer to click the report button for them. that isn't right lol
Actually one time i went into someones profile and their avatar was an anime gif of anal sex. i didnt see anything being done about it for a week.

You can always contact a moderator through PMs or IMs. I've had several cases of girls coming to me because they are being harrassed on their profiles. To my knowledge NO ONE can report comments being left on pictures or walls, so users have to PM staff members.
Also, people report stupid things all the time in the forums, too. Like Foil's avatar, or (my favorite) posts that were made well before the report feature existed, and by users who have long since moved on with their lives.Comment

You're not the first to have that av (because it was like two years ago that Steve Irwin died, right?), and there was a huge hullabaloo over "disrespect" for his death back when it happened. The report on it was just the most recent idiotic report I've seen in a while.Comment
