It might just be beta but you can click a little button in the top left of the screen to switch between high and low res.

No, that is an extremely old feature, the link seems to take you to a mini-FFR.

Well you can always go look at your profile and then click on the black bar thing that says edit siggy and it sorta brings you to the old type layout and has the low res button thing like before

But that link is so much faster

Then resize my Firefox window to any size/turn quality low.
