Random Lag

I've brought this issue up before but no one cared so I'm saying it again. I play FFR and I will randomly lag somewhere during the song effectively destroying any chance of a FC or AAA. It has gotten so annoying I've dropped a couple hundred spots down in my ranking because of it. I've tried clearing my cache and even running the game in IE but still doesn't work. What's going on?

This happens to me when I use IE to play FFR. I thought it was because I had AIM open, but even with that closed, it happens from time to time. I'm guessing it has something to do with the CPU Usage, but I haven't fixed it myself.

If it happened every now and then I wouldn't mind but I literally just lost a 1300 combo on Pupil of Frenzy because of this. I'm tired of it frankly.

Have you tried reinstalling Flash?

Also, while you play, open the task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and look for which process takes a lot of the processor time or a lot of RAM.

Finally, look for spywares, virus, trojans or other malwares that could be infecting your computer.

If that doesn't solve your problem, then I really don't know what's the problem. Does it happens in other softwares?

No, this is the only program that does this and it pisses me off. I'll try your suggestions.

i have Flash-based issues in FF... similar to what you describe, although it happens with ANY Flash object... movie, ad, game, whatever.

IE runs flawlessly for me. Not sure what to tell you as a solution beyond what others have mentioned. It has to be something on your end that's causing it.

if anything from what it sound like, you either have a bad computer or a bad internet connection thats the only other things i can think of

It happens to me, it randomly appeared one day, and I haven't really changed anything on my computer at all, just deleted old MMO's and replaced them with Touhou games. It's probably just something with the browser, and I can't test FF because it won't open up anymore :<

edit: but I've noticed if I have information uploading to a site, like videos to youtube, the random lag is greatly reduced, allowed me to FC Uber Rave today, guess my computer is just weird.

Both FF and IE do it to me (especially IE 'cos if inferiority). I blame my internet. It's very fast (10.0mbps), but it likes to just randomly hang, cut off all my downloads, streams, etc.

While I'm on the subject of internet, can someone PM me if they know how to get me set up with E3/T3/OC1 internet for my home machine? >=D

My connection is 216.0mbps. My computer isn't bad and my connection is far from sucky either.
