Upon finding no thread about previously requested features (there is one for bugs though), I thought I'd start one and let other people fill in the blanks, since so many people are suggested things that have already been requested. I can't believe how many people don't use the search feature, and some suggestions have probably been suggested 50+ times. The following list is what I know so far to have been requested more than once (not in any order):
Note skins (different colours for 8th, 16th notes, etc.) on older songs that have none.
Jack syndrome fix
Average rank ranking system (at least the top 1000 or so members)
Uploading own songs
Customizable skins
Guilds/Clans
Having a genre for your favorite songs
Removing animated song backgrounds
Removing all song backgrounds
New interface
New system of dividing songs into genres
New FFR characters and/or revised implementation thereof
Playing style rankings, very similar to regional rankings, but with playing style rather than region.
Ability to change/disable menu music
And I have a few suggestions to add.
1. At the score screen after you've completed a song, one could have the ability not only to compare their best score and rank with the current score and rank, but also compare number of Perfects, Goods, etc. with the same numbers from their best scores. I believe there is capability for this in a few respects, but I also understand that it may present difficulties too, such as redesigning the layout of the screen you get after you finish a song.
2. It would be cool, but not necessary, to have a feature that counts the number of arrows one has played to date, in a cumulative fashion. Not necessarily how many perfects, goods and averages, but arrows overall. Obviously for members who've played before the implementation of this feature, it would read something like "Arrows played since (date)", but for the members who join after this feature is put in, it could simply read: "Arrows played to date"
