FFR Suggestion - Play Count

It would be nice to have a play count on each song you play on R1. It sucks that I have to open another window and click on level rankings to figure what songs I haven't played yet so I can increase my level ranks. Not sure if anyone else agrees with me, but I'm just giving my personal suggestion if that is any help to any other FFR players that feels the same way.

Just don't be lazy. You can just use firefox and have another tab with it already on there.

I understand your points, but it was just a slight suggestion to make FFR just a bit easier, nothing serious.

The funny thing is, you want this stat to avoid having to constantly go look at the levelrank listing, and the levelrank listing is -exactly- where I'd want this stat to be located.

The only problem I'd have with this stat is that once it existed, there'd be no reason at all not to add a "top 10 played songs" into everyone's profile, and a top X list inside the song's listing for the 10 most prolific players of the song.

This would make it absolutely necessary to only count plays of the song that passed, or there would be a ridiculous contest of booing out of every freaking song 1000 times just to get on the top of more lists.

Well if you didn't have the most prolific players of the song, then you wouldn't have to worry about that. It would all be personal stat-keeping rather than a comparative, thus reducing the likelihood of someone doing that.

But I've always been a proponant of the game design philosophy that says "The more things someone can elect to make their goal, the more life you will get out of the same amount of content" and while for example, I'd be just as keen to play for average if only I could see my average rank, the fact that the list is ranked and thus competitive also helps.

The more lists and stats there are, the more things could be the one that motivates someone to stay, or play more, or subscribe.

I'd like this so I could see the ridiculous number of times I have played some songs and still haven't scored well on them, haha.

The thing I would like to see is a "Last played on" page. It could be useful for those who want to know which song they didn't play. Also, a song you haven't played for moons is probably a song you can get a better score on.

Oh wow, that's a long time ago. But if this suggestion actually happens, it would be awesome.

Yes, I use Firefox people. It's not that I'm lazy, I was just simply thinking of having something like that to where people can see how many times a person has played the song.

I'm pretty sure people will have 1,000,000,000 song plays on Excite Bike lol.
