MP Ban Bug?

Hi, I tried to log into multiplayed about 3 minutes ago and when I click "Go" a message box appears that says "You have been banned"...

...help?

You could have been logged on to a computer in which the ip was banned.

yeah, i hadnt done anything wrong at all. All i did was log into my name and warm up on a few songs, then i clicked multiplayer and it said i was banned o.o...

i never spoke to anyone, or tried to hack or cheat in any way.

Is there any possibility that my ip could be unbanned?

i havnt played on any other accounts other than the one im useing right now, but my younger cousin has an account on the same computer, could that be the one thats banned?

He probably got banned by a Mod or an Admin and is saying he never got banned so he can be unbanned.

The problem with this is that they have no way to know that "You and your cousin" both play from the same computer and are seperate people. You can easily enough say "Oh the account that got banned wasn't mine, can you just ban it" and thus keep playing in spite of getting banned yourself.
