Nice Idea!

I'm really not sure if this was suggested or not but....

Did this ever happen to you?:

You play R1 with your favorite settings then exit to another screen and check
your profile.

After a quick break, you click back to the R1 page. Excitedly, you click on your favorite song AND.........

-The speed mod is not what you perfer.

-The game mods that you want are not set.

I propose that our speed/mod settings are either saved in our profiles or shown to us on the wheel "song selection" screen. This way, we won't be so annoyed by having these problems. Is this a good idea?

it's been suggested... not sure if flash supports cookies, but if so, we should be able to save it that way for you in the future.

yeah, i've seen this suggested before. it would definitely be a good idea... This happens to me all the time lol.

it takes like... 2 seconds to change the settings, lawl, not the end of the world imo

I know that! It's just that I always go into games not realizing that the settings are changed. It's annoying.

yeah true, i do it every now and then, now its just habbit to like change teh settings

as tass said, if flash can support cookies, shouldnt be all that hard to implement

I never thought of the speed-mods in the wheel-selection thing. Yes, I have seen this idea before. I was thinking more of 'DEFAULT'. And besides, who wants Tornado as Defaulted?

Another thing: I get really really annoyed when I press "Issue Challenge", pick the song and play, and realise its playing on 1.0x Speed-Mod. When you issue a challenge, or go to FFR shop, it always resets to DEFAULT. *Sigh* Add that into your post as well if you want.

Thats the only time when I forget to set my mods again. But besides that, its just part of the game to me to open it up, make it low quality, change settings, then start playing.

I agree that we should have a save feature.

At the least a dedicated section that tells us what mods we have active while selecting a song.

Ok I've been reading a few forums, and many ''features'' are constantly being proposed, even by my own self, but the point is, they won't happen for awhile. If you harass admins with new ideas, when they're busy fixing old ones, how is anythign supposed to work?
As for the idea, I don't disagree with it, I just don't really care, as I don't use speedmods. I figure if I can AAA Rose without speedmods, when I start using them, I'll rape

I haven't had a challenge yet, but I can imagine how awful it would be to have the speed wrong when thousands of credits are on the line!
