i got disconnected from multiplayer and now it says my user name is already taken when i try to relogin...if you could log me out of multiplayer or w/e, please do.

Just wait long enough and you'll be autokicked, and then it will let you back in. Some people complain that the autokick time for being idle is too short, and get kicked because of it when they didn't want to. It used to be 15 minutes, now it seems like it's in the 5-10 minute range, not exactly sure where in that range, though.
