i was looking at the token list and it said at the top that there was an update in 2 minutes well ive been refreshing the page over and over and over but it is always at 2 minutes whats up with that

It tells you that the list will be updated in 2 minutes...

Edit: For example 900 people found the token so far, and in a minute and 59 seconds 20 people find the token, the page will still be 900 people. Until you refresh the page 2 minutes later. Then it would say 920.

it just means that the page will update every 2 minutes.

You just have to wait every 2 minutes to refresh the page to see the updated list

It wouldn't necessarily say, "One minute and five seconds until next update.
