Re: MP
About MP, I think mine is stuck! I have been at the top of the bar, level 10 for a while now, although I'm not sure if it goes up if you play people with lower stats. Confirm?Comment

Re: MP
Yeah, there is a location test THIS summer
Originally posted by Reenee @ BemaniStyleThe beginning of the Japanese location test for the game has revealed new information about SuperNOVA 2:
-An introductory opening movie is in the game, like EXTREME 2.
eAmuse:
-The name that you used in SN works in SN2.
-eAmuse can now track calories burned like in Workout Mode and you can even put in 0kg as your weight if you so desire.
Modes:
-The game can point out how many credits you need to play a mode.
-There are 6 modes: Tutorial, Standard, Battle, Nonstop, Challenge, and another mode with a yet-to-be translated name.
-Battle Mode can be played versus the CPU from 5 varying levels of difficulty.
Songwheel:
-Sorting modes: Series ("DDRMAX", "DDRMAX2", "SuperNOVA", etc.), ABC, BPM, Artist, Difficulty, Dance level, Top 30 based on your personal usage, Top 30 based on machine usage, and Top 30 based on usage stats as gathered by eAmuse.
-When you press the left and right buttons on the cabinet to change sorting method, the songwheel will no longer change and rotate through the sorting methods. Instead, you will now get a simplified menu that pops up and you can scroll to your sorting of choice quickly.
-Groove Radar values have been "expanded". It was reported that Fascination Maxx and Chaos looked more difficult according to this change.
-When a song is cleared, there will be a light by the side of the song. If you're on the 1P side, it'll be blue. Red if you're on 2P.
-The halos that were introduced for denoting a full combo on SuperNOVA's letter grades are now with the grades on the songwheel.
-There are marks on the songwheel cursor that denote the foot rating of the songs directly above and below the song currently highlighted. For example, in of the the screens showing Soul Crash, i feel... is above Soul Crash and What a Wonderful World is under it. The marks above show 9 ticks while the marks under show 7 ticks, both matching the foot rating for those songs.
-Roulette feature is gone.
-If you've chosen a song and immediately decide to set modifiers but you've let go of the button, you can press and hold the button again and not worry about not changing options like in DDR EXTREME.
In-Game:
-Best score for the region according to eAmuse is no longer there. Instead, your personal best and the machine's best is shown instead.
-In Versus games, two dancers can be displayed but only one at a time.
-Yuni is one of the new characters, looking like a punk schoolgirl of sorts.
-The name of the song and artist is always shown at the bottom of the screen.
-A portrait of the dancer will appear at 20 combo, 50 combo, and then every 50 combo after that (100, 150, etc.). In a Singles game, it will take up the entire unused portion of the screen. In Versus, the middle of the screen will have two portraits with one dancer at the top and one at the bottom.
-The portrait will not appear when a song has a background movie or you're simply in a game of Doubles.
Post-Game:
-N.G.'s will now be shown.
-The maximum score attainable is 1,000,000.
-Each score is some value of a multiple of 100. No value of a multiple of 1 or 10 is available.
-For reference, a AA is attained with anything over 950,000 points.
Extra Stages:
-The usual conditions for reaching Extra Stages is to still AA your last song on Expert/Heavy.
-You can change the modifiers used in ES/OMES with button cabinet combinations. The changes are known but not the combinations.
-For Extra Stage, the mod combos:
+x1.5, Reverse, Rainbow
+Reverse, Boost
+Reverse, Sudden
-For OMES:
+No modifiers
+Reverse, Dark
Post-Session:
-The game will show you workout results before ejecting your eAmuse card.
-A session can go towards "Enjoy Points" which can increase the "Enjoy Level". The use of these features is unknown at the moment.
-A personal Groove Radar is shown along with a dance rank.
-The ending screen usually shows Afro/Disco but reaching OMES can change the portrait to one of Yuni.

Re: MP
You have to play people within 8 levels of you to gain/lose xp. If either player is using a mirror, then you won't get xp b/c of that, also, unless that's changed since last time I tried it.
