    Back Ground On/Off Switch

I don’t know if it is possible but i thought it would be neat if you could toggle the backgrounds on the songs that have pics or videos. The reason why is because i am color deficient (not color blind). What that means is that i see colors but some of them are really hard to tell apart (purple/blue yellow/green etc.) This makes songs like Delirium and Party 4 u (v2? which ever one has the .wmv) very difficult. The song is nearly impossible to do even fairly well on. Same for Pondering Stuff and any SGX song with the SGX background. I can't think of any negative side to this except that it would make the game look less pretty. I would appreciate any constructive feed back on the matter.

I can barely see these arrows when they are still

Edit: I searched this forum to see if this thread already existed and nothing came up, and i looked through the stickys to see if there was anything posted on this subject already. There wasn't.

If only they altered all the blue arrow songs to multicolor arrows....but i think that would mean remaking the smfiles.....yeah, backrounds good.

I agree that you should be able to turn the damn backgrounds off. It's annoying on SGX songs but it's 10 times worse when you're playing an old funk song with all blue arrows and blue circles falling in the background.

Different from SM, I think FFR's backgrounds are somehow integrated into the song itself, so that would require a whole new set of code. Also, Synth doesn't want any tampering of any of the blue note songs, so I seriously doubt they will completely remove the background either.

There is a way to change the rate change and disable Party 4 U's background already. Clear your cache, refresh, and try it.

I love the background movie though, and got rank 50 on my 2nd try on it.

I doubt they can do that though, cause the pictures are already in the folders.

                  Revolutionary Etude.

One I would definitely consider removing the background on. Talk about a headache.

Many times this has been asked.

They will NOT change blue arrows.

rofl, they're actually considering making it so we can turn off backgrounds, but the old all blue note songs will not be changed.

I've been thinking about this for a while. This would definitely improve my score on Party 4 U.

Ok, first off, this thread has NOTHING to do with changing the blue arrows of any songs.

Two, if this has been asked before, show me a link to the thread (should be easy because there is at least 10 right?), because I sure as hell could not find one.

He still understood that it would change the simfile. I think Spinal shouldn't have posted IMO.
