Possible Hacking

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I wasn't sure where to put it. For some reason, when I was playing someone in Multiplayer, the other person was getting a really high combo but not at the rate/beat the song follows. It was strange to watch, and didn't seem normal at all. Either way, I don't know if it is just a glitch with MP or someone cheating/hacking, but I thought I should let people know if this person was hacking. I was playing someone named Vampire Boy 6969 or something similar. Sorry if in fact this person is not at fault.

Well, MP's combo counter is a bit behind the arrows. Is that what you meant?

No, this was WAY behind the normal rate. I know what your talking about, but it was like there was serious lag only on his side. I haven't been playing for that long, but I've played enough to know that something was up. We were playing Horizion and his combo was increasing by the second. Meaning every ' one-one-thousand -- two-two-thousand ' he would only get one more added onto his combo. In that song, it would go up much quicker. Hope that helps.

That is weird. I believe it's Sash that's the MP mod. Go ahead and tell him about it.

It's okay. Sometimes you will start the song before they will.

It'll happen to me sometimes. My song will only be half loaded or something while they'll already start. Same thing could've happened to you.

Only a possibility because I re-read your posts and don't completely understand.

sounds like arrow slowdown. my advice would be to just avoid playing him again in the future.

it's when the arrows scroll slower than they are supposed to, making them easier to hit. generally, it makes people's accuracy worse.

caused most often by old, slow computers... ones that can't properly run the game.

That was probably the case, thinking back on it. Just watch out for the guy anyway though.
