How about we modernize the Best Players List?

Create a scores database for the songs in FFR and have people submit their scores (SCREENSHOT REQUIRED for scores to be recorded) and have that calculate tier points and rank you among others who have submitted scores.

I know it would take quite a bit of code though. I'm willing to help with anything I can, though I only know some HTML.

Exactly.

I could do it all myself too, as long as I was shown exactly what to do for one song. I'm sure all you'd have to do is copy the code for that one song and use it for all of the other songs. Except that you'd edit in the info of the other songs and stuff.

I have a lot of ideas for this thing.

Yeah, seems like it would be far better as an automatic thing, and quite doable as one.

I'd rather have it not link to the levelrank list for tier points scores. AAAs sure. Submitting scores adds more fun to the area. Those who want to be on the list can just submit their scores and those who don't want to be don't have to submit.

plus it rewards those of us with about 700 screenshots... heh. although i'd have to re-AAA a bunch of easy songs that I don't have SSs of.

We wouldn't swarm the Top Players thread and go "point check plz." all day.
