    Difficulty Based on Style

I was wondering if there could be a new difficulty selection based on style. With a growing community, there are sure to be different styles that comes out, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. For instance, an index (2 fingered) player like me can play streamed songs pretty decently, but if it is too fast of a song with high amounts of 16th beat arrows, then we can not move our fingers fast enough to hit each arrow. Also, jump streams are our weakest point. You know, just a little something for everyone who plays a different style.

Edit: I forgot to mention something else. Is there a way to keep downloaded song files on the computer so that everytime we close out of FFR, we don't have to redownload the songs again?

No. And your computer automatically stores the files in the temporary internet files, so you should only have to download them once.

      This isn't a bad idea.

Uh, no you cannot move your fingers fast enough. There are some pretty fast indexers you know?

Only really horrible index patterns are jumpstream, spins and excessive crossovers

Not the best idea, but others are worse. Keep thinking though.

Maybe for 3rd style...probably too much trouble to implement for the current version, plus it'd be confusing for newer players.

No. Learn 4 finger or spread instead.

Then maybe an advanced version of FFR. Maybe going too far here, but definitly somthing possible in the future.

This would work. Not to change a difficulty though. If when you click a song once it would be underneath Difficulty and said something like "Step Style"

I would agree on this if my first idea will not be accepted. At least show a little somthing on if a certain style is best suited on a certain song. But I really would like for my first idea to come through. I mean, there is no universally superior (sp) style except 8 fingers which is considered noobish and cheating when it comes to FFR.
