New ranking System???

I was thinking about the way that the rank system is worked and I have a proposal on a new one. Currently, ranks are found by the total score that you have accumulated and not by the actual skill of the player. My proposal is to change the ranking system and base it off of the average rank that you have recieved on all of the songs on ffr. This will accuratly display the skill level that anyone has on all of the song types and all of the genres instead of just who plays more. Let me know what you think!

This idea has been thought of before. The problem is that most of the higher skilled players don't want to be bothered with easy songs such as Snowflakes, and are not willing to devote that much time into AAAing the songs. Their average ranks would be lower than what it accurately should be. It is true that it is a more fair ranking system, but people are too lazy to AAA every easy song. That's why Scottish made the Top Player's list with requirements on a point system.

also, it is NOT possible to do this. forming a big list based on overall rank takes ONE query to the database....

doing the same thing for average rank takes TWO HUNDRED MILLION queries... it would literally destroy the server.
