Just get stepmania, it has vs. mode. That or just get your friend to play on a seperate computer and play multiplayer.

No it wouldn't just use wasd and the arrow keys = not cramped.
or even have one person use wasd ijkl and the other use arrow keys and numpad...

Yes, but FFR R2 is'nt as good as FFR!
