Phantom Boos

This seems to be a rather new development.

While playing Ball of Malt and Burnout (it probably happens on others, those were the only two I tried), I started getting boo ratings at odd times. Once, I got one before the song even started (I wasn't pressing any keys), and in BoM, I'm always getting them during the verse on succesful arrow taps. It's easy to see because I'll get a perfect and my health bar goes down. My keyboard could theoretically be screwing up, because I don't think the game has been updated since I noticed this starting.

Anyone else had this?

After some more testing, I found out how to trigger it. It's caused by holding the button down too long when hitting an arrow. The key gets sent again and the second time, there is no arrow there. Not all keyboards might be affected by this.

no.. your fine.. plasmix is an idiot, who doesn't like helping people... but yes.. your right.. holding the button to long triggers a repeat sending of the arrow.. which is why your getting boos.. just try to bring your fingers off the keys quicker.. also.. try to go into your configuration and set your repeat key option (thing that allows you to set the amount of time you have to hold a button before it starts repeating that button) lower... that should help it ... peace
