So, I was just thinking....Why only 1 new song a week? I mean, we have enough blanket permissions, we have enough people to step the songs. Why not add more than one song a week? I mean, even 2 would make me happy.

Don't get me wrong, having a 1 new song a week completely thrills me compared to not having one, but still.

I think that one song a week is sweet, gives most players a new song to try to FC/SDG/AAA and increases the play value of FFR. I think that two would be nice, but one is enough for me.

We don't have enough to stuff to keep that constant. At the moment, we only have around 3 or 4 files waiting to get in.

They won't give so many songs at once because people would probably lose interest.

You have to keep your customers wanting more. If they gave us a ****load all at once, few would care.

Back when I started playing this game, we almost never got new songs added. Now, it seems like the number of songs there were then has about doubled.

nestle... 3RD STYLE. not R3. FFR R1 3rd Style. R3 would be a completely seperate game from R1 and R2, which it is not. it is a style change to R1. <3.


and, back to the initial suggestion... which has been answered nicely collectively by others...

1. we don't have an unlimited number of songs/files to add. currently, it is the files that are keeping us down. in the past, it was the songs. we have about 8-10 worthy songs right now... few need some edits done, but will eventually be in, likely. who knows how many more files we'll get. better to add in an extra song on special occasions and keep it to 1 a week, cause we can survive on 1 a week for a while.

2. the spoiled thing. think about it... there was a time period of about a year where there was MAYBE 2 or 3 new songs added. basically, a ton of songs were added within the first few months of the game. then only a few were added until 2nd style, at which point a ton of new files were added. then about a year after that, we started SotW... which was supposed to last until 3rd style came out. that was 2 years ago or so. after a few months, we stopped SotW, for whatever reason. between then and 6 months ago, there were barely any songs added. and then the past 6 months or so has been pretty consistent with 1 a week, maybe 2 in special occasions.

3. specialness. if we release too many files, they start becoming less special. with 1 a week, people anticipate the release of SotW and it is an event and is special.

4. something else... dont remember what. but you get the idea.
