super lagging

for the pass week ffr has been going not exactly slow but in the middle of the song it starts to lag causing me to miss combos and fail songs, is there anything i can do about it?

get more ram.i used to have 512 and it ran slow.i got a new comp with 2 gigs and it runs super dooper smooth now
