    ASDF?

R2 has AWSD controls as well as the arrow pad. I was wondering if it was possible to do this with FFR As well?

It would really help me, and most likely a number of other players that want to use spread, but want to have all four keys available on each hand.

If it can't be done that's ok, but I was just wondering it it was possible with the coding and all. Or if there would be any problem with it.

    Thanks.

That's called double setup and is considered cheating.

      Re: ASDF?

Why on earth is that considered cheating? I thought spread was when you used the arrow pad with your left hand and num pad with your right?

Why would it be cheating to use your left hand on AWSD and right on the arrow pad?

I'm sorry I'm new to this, but I don't know why they would let use use the arrow pad and num pad in the first place if they didn't want you to use them...

        Re: ASDF?

If you are using all 4 arrows with each hand, it's considered cheating. If you are using 2 arrows from each, it's fine. (Spread)

          Re: ASDF?

4 arrows = 4 fingers, max. using 8 fingers to mash your way through hard stuff is considered cheating.

BUT, to answer your question.... there is a thread in FFR General Talk that explains how you can re-map keys. Without the information in that thread, there is no way to use anything other than the directional arrows or the num pad.

Yeah, I once remapped the keys with my SM spread setup... didn't go very well. =\

But I guess that's what happens when you play at C700.
