A random song feature should be easy to program. I assume such a feature hasn't been added because it doesn't have much use and people on slower connections might get screwed into playing a song too hard for them.

Afro made a good point that I didn't think of. 90%+ of FFR players can't come close to FCing hard songs. Probably can't pass many of them. Not to mention, MOST people don't have all 139 songs. How can you make a randomizer that has a good shot of giving someone a song that they don't have.
Plus, those of us on the other end of the spectrum have 30+ songs AAAd and don't want to play them again. I know I'd never use it, and I doubt any other top player would either. Too probable to get stuck playing Trip to the Moon or some other piss easy song.RIPComment

Could make a randomizer that picks songs that only everyone has. (such as main ones, not purchased/secret/secret secret.).

Then randomization is pointless. You either make it possible to play all songs, or look for them yourself. Well, thinking of another idea, how about adding songs as rare songs that can only be activated by the randomizer.GET A JOB LOSER.

I think there is merit in a random feature, but it really is no good in the current version.
Hopefully 3rd Style will have sorting by difficulty and a random within a difficulty level would be possible.Comment
