    Flashack Prevention Idea.

In order to prevent flashhackers, and ridiculously high scores, in the next update, for each song, make it so the high score can NOT go over the song's "perfect" score, and, if someone were to have their score go over, they would have their IP, and username banned from the game and forum, until they either got it back from an admin, or otherwise.

    It makes sense to me.

Like, the max for some song is 550,000,
    Someone gets 670,000 through cheating,
    They get insta-banned.

Oh god just stop posting, this idea is dumb, sometimes people get rediculously high scores when they don't mean to, like the invisible arrow bug.

This idea won't work - then if someone cheats and gets exactly the AAA score for a song, it won't catch them.

i have the solution, a bool variable if the bool variable isn't tripped by playing the song, the scroe isn't taken.

or.. like 5 total.. The score is not going to have more than 5 misses if someones up there, unless it's like Hellbeat or Uber Rave. And then additionally, no scores above the maximum amount set by synth will be recorded. Thus, further preventing hacking. And lastly, all newb songs should have high-scores wiped monthly, and you cannot get your name on the newb high-score-board unless you're account is under 2 months old.

As a matter of fact i do! I just happen to be a programmer/hacker. so back off. i know how to fix the hacking problem, but i won' post the full solution unless requested by an OP.

oh yeah just to let you know they are hacking straight into the server.

Alkaiser88 is on the right track, BUT Arch0wl does make a good point. with the bool variable added into the code, you can make it so by playing the songall the way through it sets the variable to true, and when the score is sent it will see the true bool and accept it. since they are hacking from the outside, they will have to either find another method of hacking OR they can try to hack your server, find the code and find the possibly infinite amount of bool variables that you have set. by doing this you have made it very challneging to these people, and they will probably get tired anfd move on. Oh yeah i alo think that wiping the scores every month or so is a cool idea, but you should keep an "all time " record foe each song, like the first second and third place scores of every few months.
