"Random Song" Function

I don't post here much, so I'm not sure how often this board gets read, much less acknowledged, but I've got an idea anyway.

It would be nice if the user could click a "Random Song" button somewhere on the main screen of FFR that would pick a completely random song from any (aside from secret and purchased that have not been unlocked) that are currently in the game.

The user could possibly even choose settings for random songs, such as difficulty and genre, or even have the game pick out a song based on the user's skill level (determined from personal high scores).

Cool idea. What's the point of the skill if it's supposed to be random though?

My idea is that someone could pick a certain skill level range (maybe from easy to difficult, for example) and have a random song of any of those difficulties play.

Basically, it justs narrows down the parameters so that it's still random, but it will play a song that the user probably like.

There is a "Random" function in R2, but you can't narrow it down. With FFR, however, the need to narrow the possibilities down is present because of the large number of songs.

That actually is quite a good idea. This might be included in 3rd Style, but it wouldnt hurt to have a Random Song button in R1, although I don't play it anymore =D

there should be a random song selection in multiplayer also, also according to skill level so that those guys who should be on level 20 but show up on level 4 have to do the easy ones and that will bore them, this might help prevent this.
