Silence Imbalanced?

I just wanted to raise an issue regarding the purchased song "Silence" which i believe is VERY unbalanced, if people know what to do with it... I'm not a "guru" player, which is what you would need to be to beat this song, one would think, but... anyone who has a compueter which can read 4 inputs at a time can simply button mash all 4 arrow keys at once through the whole sojng, and out pops 25 credits. This requires no skill, and allows you to build up vredits incredibly fast... i think this song should be restepped to at least go with the song in some understandable way, or just be removed completly...

i think that is completely wrong. silence is easily played even with keyboards that only read 2 keys at a time (like mine). it definitely has a pattern, and if noobs want to mash it up, then let then feel sore after a few hours.

The steps for Silence are total bullcrap.

Basically, it goes jumpstream at 160 BPM or whatever Silence is for awhile, then turns to nonsense jumpstream with completely randomly alternating jumps and taps, then back to normal jumpstream for the rest of the song.

It's onbeat but isn't synced to anything in the song. I think the nonsense in the middle is an attempt at making extra jumps go to the vocals but it's a really pathetic attempt.

Noobs can mash it if they like, but it doesn't really get them anywhere, except maybe a double-digit rank that they don't really deserve. It certainly won't get them onto the high score list (you need minimum 24 goods 2 averages FC for that) so I don't see the problem.

It's definately possible on 2 keys only keyboards. Although mashing it is dumb because while I deserve a double digit rank I get in the 100s because of mashers. But it doesn't matter because I'd beat them in any other song.

Well, I've FCed silence on 5 occasions, yet i cant FC somthing like.. say uber rave, which is about the same speed or less, but because it isnt just random bull the WHOLE song, i cant just BS my way thru like i can on silence...

Maybe it is possible to mash but you can't FC it just jamming away at buttons. Scrape a pass, yes, but FC? Probably not.

And technically you can mash on any song. What makes silence so special?

The problem with Silence is that you actually CAN FC it through pure mashing. It doesn't really work on any other hard song.

Because of how quickly the arrows come up in the song, you CAN FC the song just by mashing, and that was my point in the first place. Any song which you can simply mash and get even 10 credits on is BS... it obviously took no skill to mash and the person doing it obviously doesnt deserve that many credits.

Prove it, show me a Silence SS with more than 250 boos that's an FC.

One sec.. im having trouble loading a screen shot of me ALMOST FCing it ( i missed the two arrows at the end ;P) and i have 1000 boos, becausei BSed my way thru it by mashing all 4 keys

my god.. i can't even load the screenshot thru a bitmap cuz of the low file size required... ill try to find another way to get a pic on and get back to you on it.. or i can get near max-combo live with you in multiplayer thru button mashing.. tho it did take me a couple trys to FC it.. that's not even the point tho.. the point is that even if you get 600 combo, you still get 20+ credits, and i can easily get 600 combo every time if i try, as can anyone else capable of mashing

Also ( sorry for so many posts, i think of these things after i type the last post >.< ) what do you want me to do with that link... one i cant even log in thru it, 2 it doesnt have silence on it..??
