it would be sweet if you guys could make a program where you could use your own music and make your own arrowos to go along with it....just a thought

there already is a way, its in the FAQ section, or do you mean like a super simple program that takes like 5 seconds to make a song.

Stepmania.
Stepmania is a DDR simulator that can be used to create steps for any MP3.
In fact, it is Stepmania that stepfile artists use to create their stepfiles, even for FFR.
Basically, get Stepmania at Stepmania.com, then check out a guide to making stepfiles, like this one.
