Anyone else getting unusual lag lately?

For the last week or so my scoring has seriously been hindered in that I have been getting lag on all songs, but it's only when there are lots of arrows on the screen, I've checked virus-scanner and I have no virus', I've cleared my cache/cookies/history, I have a fast computer, so what's the problem, why now am I getting lag when lots of arrows appear on screen. It's annoying because it's the only reason I don't FC levels like ph43r m3, because the bit at the end lags and causes me to miss.

Any solutions?

If you're lagging now and you weren't before, it's probably spyware/adware. I'm pretty sure that Adaware (link) is one of the best programs for removal of spyware/adware.

Umm I have microsoft antispyware beta which is the best spyware/adaware program out there at the moment, so it's not that, I'm sure of that. So any other ideas?

I don't think Microsoft Antispyware is the best. You should probably dl Adaware.

Uhh tell me this, have you ever actually used it, or are you just going on the presumption that due to it's name it must suck? If you've used it maybe I'll accept your opinion, otherwise you need to shut up because I've used it since it came out, and my pc has never faltered, never crashed, never messed up in any way.

EDIT - And just to add, it's only FFR that is lagging, none of my online games or nothing else online is lagging.

Actually, MS Antispyware is better than Adaware.. Ms antispyware runs pretty close to XoftSpy as far as quality goes. I used Adaware (and even paid for it) for about 3 years before finding out that it didn't catch lots of stuff that both the other packages caught.

Just to say, I think that firefox is the problem. I started playing on I.E and it is having no lag at all, it's perfect, very strange, wonder what firefox is doing differently that's causing lag..
