If you havent noticed already, the FFR scoring system is completely reliant on combos. The actual score for each note doesnt matter unless both players broke thier combo at the same place OR both comboed the entire song. fevery combo note is worth thousands more than regular, since the score multiplyer seems to go up as they combo more and more. so both players can get the exact same number of misses, bads, averages, greats, and perfacts, but depending on where they broke the combo, one player might win by a landslide! i think that the scoring system should be tweaked so that the combos are less influential on the overll score, but rather how accurately each note was hit.

RE: Score System needs changing
It's not a simple task to change how the scoring works, a lot of code changes are involved. I doubt it will be changed until the next major revision of FFR.

RE: Score System needs changing
Good thing you dont play R2 where the scoring system is based on the timing of the last few notes.

Live with it, learn to play normally, like the game is made, scoring is easy.Originally posted by MagnafiendIf you havent noticed already, the FFR scoring system is completely reliant on combos.
