Request for new arts forum

Create a "Litterature" or equivalent forum under the "Arts" subsection where people can discuss litterature or post their own compositions.

Many CT forummers have no interest in reading very long stories and poems, and there has recently been several threads for these.

If you want to be creative you can call the sub-forum:

"TL/DR forum" (The Litterature/Drama Readers' forum)

I think it's a good idea, but I think CT does the job nicely: If the CT Forummers don't want to read the story threads, then they don't have to, but the stories there get read.

I was thinking of suggesting this, but I wasn't sure if anyone thought the same way. I started a stories thread to encourage people to post stories, but people don't get the feedback they'd like because the stories get forgotten as new ones get put up. Also, very few people actually give good tips and opinions on them anyway. If a forum like this gets created, there should be a staff put together of good reviews, like MalReynolds, to moderate it.

Anyway, I support the idea.
