Possible idea for simfile database

My suggestion would be to have a database where you can only upload simfiles if you have the artists permission (and send it to an Admin to put it up). This way, we wouldn't have to worry about them crazy folks comin' and shuttin' us down. Also, there wouldn't be 213709870948712 Linkin Park simfiles. It also won't be as much space because not everyone can get permission.

I understand there's BMS, but a lot of people really liked the one here.

The reason why it was taken down, is because of the bandwidth costs associated with it.

yea but it wouldnt take up nearly as much banwidth if there isnt as many songs
