synth is working on it... i'll tell you what he told me... he is using a program called swfxxl (www.swfxxl.com) to make the .exe. if you can find something like this for mac he will probably do it right away.
Hoborg returned and was ready to build “The Everhood,” a neighborhood that would last forever… so long as nothing went wrong...

I don't even want to start the debate. But I've been developing on the Mac for about 3 months now, and it's the biggest pain the in ass I've ever seen.

I have to reboot the damn thing every 15 minutes or so. This on a dual 450 G4 running OSX...that's so sad...

But anyway...why can't mac people just download the swf or whatever and run that? I'm not sure you need to convert the game into an exe...just make a swf that looks locally for the song files. You'd still need IE or Quicktime to run it, but that would be a much easier solution than trying to convert the whole thing into pure machine code.

OSX ain't bad. The command line reminds me of UNIX :/. wait... it IS UNIX.

but I still like my PC. And as soon as Redhat finishes downloading I'll be dual-bootin' that and XP.

(err... that's Windows first Linux second, right... RIGHT?)

                  lol

I think we all agree thats macs suck BUT windows was originally marketted as an inferior operating system. THe only reason it became used was because microsoft worked with computer companys like dell etc and gave them the operating system to package for free with their computers. Even though windows was inferior it was used as it was free.

Since then ppl have become accustemed to it and have learned to rely on it

I personalyl use windows coz its easy for everyone in my house but id rather use linux!

I used to be an all pc person, but now i like both. most people think of macs as those old crappy school computers that couldn't do anything, but they aren't. Macs are actually way better for video editing than pc. If I had never watched the station "tech tv" i wouldn't feel as strongly as I do for macs. also i assumed that macs were just those outdated school computers, but i got a macintosh laptop for my school and there are way less errors than are commonly found on windows. I think that if you try a (new) mac comp you will like it. Pretty much the only thing that macs don't have over the pc is gamming and prossesor speed.

Eh...I disagree. I've got a 800 mhz W2K box that I write C on that I love. I've seen it crash a total of 3 times in 2 years. (once because I blew away my registry with a program gone bad).

My mac is a pretty decent machine for a Mac. It'll haul ass when I need it to. Problem is it's about as stable as a one leggeded guy sking with a blind fold on. Dumb ass thing crashes on a whim....That's with OS 10.2.2

The best thing I've seen is when it decides not to load mouse drivers or even better, I lose drag and drop. You click on an icon and try to drag it and nothing happens. Reboot, works fine. Reboot again, lose the mouse. It's bizzare.

If I were to do video editing I would do it on a PC. If I spent 3000 to get a high end mac or that same 3K on a PC. I would have the ballzest PC on the planet. 2.8 ghz with 1 gig of ram. I think that could handle vido fairly easily. =)

Plus I do all my audio editing on my home PC and have never had any problems with it. I can run Cakewalk, FruityLoops, Rebirth and Soundforge all at the same time without a hiccup.

I made the switch to PC
