hope no one has suggested this before.....but you know how in stepmania there is a log with all of your scores in it for every song? well, stepmania should release an addon(or put it in their next new version) that automatically sends that log file to ffr. this would:
1) eliminate bandwidth on FFR because people would be playing their own songs on their comp without having to load FFR all the time.
2) MODS MODS MOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDSSSS!!!!!! thats right we know u love your mods :P but some mods would make AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ing (shut up) be as easy as failing uber rave while not pressing any buttons. so some mods would be not allowed, like 2X on so deep, but it would be allowed on max's cuz those would be harder with speed mods(faster) and so deep is easier with them. but then would come the time consuming task of determining how many credits for every song, what mods can and cant be used, blah blah. this would take about a year, with just my songs(i have 1280 or so, im working up to 1337 :P )
3)there are so many more songs in stepmania so you wouldnt get bored with the ones in FFR, cuz there arent quite as many. (no offense i know its hard to make the songs and whatnot, especially since this is completely free)
4)stepmania has an unlock system built in, so you could play it offline, and it could save the number of credits earned during offline play, and then send it to FFR once u get back online.
5) worst thing of all.........hacking! sooo easy. that file with all your stepmania scores-just a simple text file in the stepmania system folder or something. it could somehow be fixed by integrationg it RIGHT into stepmania so u cant just open up the sm(im geting tired of typing stepmania) folder and edit the file. but it would still be hackable. probly about as easy as editing starcraft, or GTA3 (woohoo everyone is now a stripper!) yeah. but someone with more knowledge of hacking could help with that one.
if theres anything i left out that might be a problem or an improvement, please add here or ask a question I'll answer it quickly(as long as u ask within 10 min cuz ill still be looking here, tomorrow i might forget that i even posted here)
